Location: Chicora, PA

Schedule
Full-time | 40 hours per week
Pharmacy Hours:
MondayFriday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM 3:00 PM
What Youll Do

As a Long-Term Care Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring medication accuracy, safety, and compliance for vulnerable patient populations. Responsibilities include:

Reviewing and verifying medication orders entered by pharmacy technicians
Checking packaged medications including:
Blister-packed medications
Sterile medications
Non-sterile medications

Providing clinical support and responding to inquiries from:
Nursing facilities
Hospice nurses
Physicians
Performing controlled substance counts and maintaining perpetual inventory records
Managing and inspecting emergency medication boxes to ensure compliance and readiness
Supporting regulatory standards and pharmacy best practices in a long-term care setting

What Were Looking For
Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License in good standing
At least 1 year of pharmacy experience
Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
Experience with pharmacy systems such as:
QS1
Docutrack
PCC
Ability to work efficiently in a regulated, high-volume environment
Physical ability to stand, sit, utilize fine motor skills, maintain visual acuity, and lift up to 30 lbs
