Hospital Pharmacist | Cadiz, Kentucky
A critical access hospital in a scenic small town is seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide dedicated inpatient pharmacy services. This role involves stepping in to cover for a long-time staff pharmacist who is retiring at the end of July, ensuring continuity of quality care for the hospitals community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inpatient pharmacy operations in a 25-bed critical access hospital with an average daily census of 12 to 18 patients.
- Serve as a Staff Pharmacist and potentially hold Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) responsibilities.
- Utilize CPSI system to accurately dispense medications, review prescriptions, and provide patient counseling.
- Collaborate with a pharmacy team comprising 2 pharmacists, 1 technician, and 1 part-time pharmacist.
- Participate in an 8 days on, 6 days off rotating schedule with shift hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Provide on-call coverage as required to support hospital pharmacy needs.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid pharmacist licensure.
- Experience working in a hospital inpatient pharmacy setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated pharmacy team.
- Proficiency with CPSI or similar pharmacy management systems is preferred.
- Commitment to supporting patient care in a community hospital environment.
