A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to provide inpatient pharmacy services at a well-established medical center in Ventura County. This role supports hospital pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients in a clinical setting. The position offers a full-time schedule with flexible shifts primarily consisting of four 10-hour days per week, occasional weekends, swing shifts, and some holiday coverage.

Location:

Contract Duration:

• Approximately 3 to 6 months, with potential for temp-to-hire

Schedule:

• Full time, 8- and 10-hour shifts depending on assigned pharmacy area
• Variable schedules including swing shifts, weekends, and occasional holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to inpatient populations
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state regulations
• Participate in medication reconciliation and clinical interventions
• Utilize electronic health records systems to manage prescriptions and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy system is advantageous; training available
• Strong communication and organizational skills
