Schedule:

• Full-time hours
• Primarily four 10-hour shifts per week, with some 8-hour shifts depending on pharmacy unit
• Variable shifts including swing shifts, occasional weekends, and some holidays

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently for inpatient care units
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication therapy management
• Monitor patient medication regimens and intervene as necessary for safety and efficacy
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety regulations, and pharmacy standards
• Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to patient care decisions

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system is a plus; training is available
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
