Hospital Pharmacist in Cambridge, MA

An opportunity is available for a pharmacist to provide inpatient pharmacy services within a hospital setting in the Boston, MA area. This contract position is ideal for professionals with hospital pharmacy experience who can start as soon as possible and commit to a duration of at least three months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify inpatient medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care plans
• Manage inventory and ensure the safe storage and handling of medications
• Utilize hospital systems to maintain patient records and medication profiles

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts pharmacist license
• Minimum of two years experience in a hospital pharmacy environment preferred
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is highly desirable
