Travel Pediatric Inpatient Pharmacist - Cambridge, Massachusetts

A leading Level I Trauma Center with 1500 beds and a renowned Children's Hospital seeks two experienced pharmacists for a 13-week travel assignment beginning November 2. This role offers the opportunity to support a high-acuity inpatient pediatric and womens health population in a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services within pediatric and womens health inpatient units or operational roles such as Pharmacist in Charge or sterile processing in the dispensing pharmacy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records and Pyxis systems for medication dispensing.
• Participate in rotating shifts including days, evenings, and weekends (five 8-hour shifts per week).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience.
• PGY1 residency training preferred, but candidates with 2-3 years of relevant inpatient experience will be considered.
• Exposure to pediatric and womens health pharmacy practice highly desirable.
• Ability to obtain a Connecticut Pharmacist license within 7-10 days.
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems.

Location:

• Cambridge, MA, with potential to support clinical or operational pharmacy functions remotely or onsite at the facility.
