Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store operations teams to engage pharmacy associates and communicate company strategies.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Quality Assurance, following state and federal regulations.
• Build a profitable pharmacy through clinical programs including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Manage inventory control in coordination with the district manager to meet customer demand while optimizing profitability.
• Set and align department performance objectives focused on measurable Rx department effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide exceptional healthcare counseling and support for customer medical inquiries.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness standards.
• Address and resolve customer concerns to foster trust and loyalty.
• Liaise with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and resolve related issues.
• Prioritize and ensure timely completion of pharmacy tasks such as inventory counts and will-call follow-ups.
• Promote staff development to improve performance and reduce turnover.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm D degree
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
