A leading non-profit health system in Santa Barbara County is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with expertise in Oncology to join their esteemed pharmacy team. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medication management, including ordering labs, selecting therapies, and managing adverse effects.
• Verify chemotherapy orders and protocols for accuracy, dosing, and safety.
• Educate patients and caregivers on chemotherapy regimens and medication adherence.
• Collaborate closely with providers and nursing staff during clinical rounds to guide treatment decisions.
• Participate in oncology clinical trials, manage investigational drugs, and develop institutional protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required.
• Eligibility to obtain California pharmacist licensure.
• PGY2 oncology residency or fellowship, OR PGY1 plus a minimum of 3 years clinical specialist experience in oncology, OR at least 5 years as an oncology clinical specialist.
• Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) is highly preferred.
• Proven clinical expertise beyond staffing experience, demonstrating advanced knowledge in oncology pharmacotherapy.
