Per Diem Retail Pharmacist | Cary, North Carolina

A licensed pharmacist is needed for per diem coverage at a small outpatient/retail pharmacy located in Cary, NC. This flexible opportunity offers approximately one day per week with potential for additional shifts as needed. The assignment provides ongoing temporary work, ideal for pharmacists seeking to supplement their current schedule with consistent per diem hours.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and accurately dispense prescriptions
• Counsel patients to ensure safe medication use
• Operate within a 340B pharmacy program environment
• Utilize pharmacy management systems, including QS1 and Epic

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina pharmacist license required
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
• Familiarity with 340B pharmacy operations preferred; training provided if needed
• Experience with QS1 and Epic pharmacy systems is a plus
