Pharmacist, Sterile Compounding, Days (8am -6pm)

Schedule: MondayFriday, rotating day shifts (8:00 AM5:00 PM, 8:30 AM5:30 PM, or 9:00 AM6:00 PM)
On-Call: Required (evenings and weekends)

RPh on the Go is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 17-week contract-to-hire opportunity with a growing home infusion pharmacy in North Carolina. This position offers a combination of clinical pharmacy responsibilities, sterile compounding, and operational support in a fast-paced home infusion environment.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals for appropriateness, including drug selection, dosing, route of administration, and laboratory requirements
• Manage new patient starts, refill authorizations, medication reconciliation, and patient counseling
• Monitor patients receiving lab-dependent therapies and coordinate care with providers and nursing staff
• Enter and verify prescriptions, maintain accurate documentation, and support claim adjudication processes
• Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications in accordance with USP standards
• Ensure accurate labeling, lot tracking, and quality assurance procedures
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support pharmacy workflow operations
• Assist with inventory management and timely medication dispensing and delivery

Requirements

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license
• Recent sterile compounding experience
• Ability to work rotating day shifts and participate in on-call coverage
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Preferred Qualifications
• Home infusion pharmacy experience
• Experience with CPR+ pharmacy software
