Provide pharmacy services as a PRN Pharmacist supporting a nursing home caring for approximately 50 residents. This role offers daytime weekday hours, focusing on vacation coverage with specific dates throughout the month. It is a per diem position well-suited for candidates seeking flexible, part-time work.

Responsibilities:

Verify prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and nursing staff to ensure timely medication delivery
Maintain compliance with state regulations and facility protocols
Use Point Click Care software to document and track medication records
Support patient safety and optimize resident medication outcomes

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care setting
Active and clear Virginia pharmacist license
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
Familiarity with Point Click Care or similar pharmacy systems is a plus

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Dates needed include days 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11 (vacation coverage)
