Position Details:

• Role: Staff Pharmacist (may hold PIC responsibilities)
• Setting: Inpatient pharmacy covering a 25-licensed-bed hospital with an average daily census of 12 to 18 patients
• System: CPSI electronic medical records
• Schedule: 8 days on, 6 days off rotation working alongside one other pharmacist
• Shift Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with on-call duties required
• Pharmacy Team: 2 pharmacists, 1 technician, 1 part-time pharmacist
• Contract Type: Contract to hire, 13 weeks, covering a retiring long-term staff pharmacist effective end of July

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current pharmacist license in good standing
• Hospital inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability to manage responsibilities as PIC if required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration within a small staff
• Comfort working in a community hospital environment with a focus on personalized patient care

• Dispense medications accurately for inpatient use
