Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Chapel Hill, North Carolina

A small outpatient/retail pharmacy in the Chapel Hill area is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide reliable per diem coverage. This role offers flexible hours with approximately one day per week on average and additional shifts as needed, making it an excellent opportunity for pharmacists looking to enhance their schedule with consistent per diem work.

Responsibilities include verifying and dispensing prescriptions accurately, counseling patients regarding their medications, and working within a 340B pharmacy setting. Candidates will utilize QS1 and Epic pharmacy systems to maintain efficient and compliant operations. This is an ongoing temporary assignment ideal for those who value variety and flexibility.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
• Prior 340B pharmacy experience is preferred but not required (training provided)
• Familiarity with QS1 and Epic pharmacy systems is a plus

Schedule:

• Approximately 1 day per week
• Additional coverage available as needed
