Retail Pharmacist in Chiloquin, OR

This opportunity is tailored for an experienced retail pharmacist ready to support a health system in the Klamath Falls region. With an immediate start, this contract role offers an engaging workweek of 10-hour shifts across four days, including some Saturdays, providing a balanced schedule.

Location:

• Klamath Falls, OR, with occasional floating to nearby pharmacy sites within a 5-mile radius

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 7:45 AM 7:15 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM 5:15 PM
• 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Floating between several local pharmacy locations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and accurately fill prescriptions
• Oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Counsel patients on both prescription and over-the-counter medications
• Maintain high standards of pharmacy operations and patient safety

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Oregon pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability for the duration of the 13-week contract
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work across multiple nearby locations within the health system
