Travel Hospital Pharmacist - Citrus Heights, CA

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available for a 26-week assignment in Ft Bragg, CA, offering a dynamic work environment and the chance to support critical hospital pharmacy operations. This role features a 4-days-per-week, 10-hour day-shift schedule, providing a balanced approach to professional responsibilities and personal time.

Responsibilities:

• Perform order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflows
• Consult with nurses and physicians to optimize medication therapy
• Support pharmacy operations during the transition to EPIC from Cerner
• Utilize Omnicell systems for medication management
• Apply any previous chemotherapy experience to enhance patient care

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Possession of an active California pharmacist license
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy settings preferred
• Experience with Cerner and/or EPIC systems highly desirable
• Background in chemotherapy medication is an advantage
• Availability for full-time travel assignment
