Pharmacists with hospital experience are needed for a travel assignment in Northern California, with opportunities in both Citrus Heights and Redding. The primary setting is a 250-bed hospital in Redding, offering an engaging clinical environment supported by Cerner and Omnicell technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapies
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient care
• Support interdisciplinary teams for effective patient outcomes

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Variable days and afternoon shifts to accommodate patient needs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license is required
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in order verification and team supervision
• Strong communication and collaborative skills for interacting with healthcare providers
• Positive attitude and eagerness to work in a northern California travel position
• Completion of PGY1 residency is highly desirable
