A 13-week contract to hire opportunity is available for a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacist in Kennett Square, PA, within a specialized 504 A/B Compounding Pharmacy. This role centers on preparing and verifying non-sterile compounded medications, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately compound non-sterile preparations in accordance with master formula worksheets and SOPs.
• Implement and adhere to cleaning and garbing policies to maintain aseptic conditions.
• Conduct precise calculations and thorough documentation throughout the compounding process.
• Operate production equipment and computerized systems efficiently, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Perform quality control inspections and tests to confirm the purity, potency, and overall quality of compounded medications.
• Prepare work areas meticulously before production begins.
• Stay updated on emerging compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to compounding pharmacy practices.

Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
• Recent experience working as a pharmacist.
• Proven background in non-sterile compounding pharmacy procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to operate compounding and production equipment confidently.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
