Travel Hospital Pharmacist | Columbus, Ohio

A 13-week travel opportunity is available for a Pharmacist specializing in inpatient hospital pharmacy services. This role requires delivering accurate, timely medication management and supporting varied shift schedules in a hospital setting with a focus on clinical expertise and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Work a 40-hour week on varied shifts, including evenings and weekends with typical hours from 12:30 PM to 9 PM.
• Provide pharmacokinetic dosing and warfarin management, specifically for agents such as vancomycin.
• Utilize electronic medical records, ideally Epic Willow Inpatient, to verify and document medication orders.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal pharmacotherapy and patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must hold an active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum one year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience is required.
• Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing (vancomycin) and warfarin management is essential.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR systems, particularly Epic Willow Inpatient, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Flexibility to cover varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
