An opportunity is available for a Night Shift Pharmacist at a well-established 300-bed community hospital in San Antonio, TX. This contract position offers the chance to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment utilizing Cerner IT systems. The role begins ASAP and runs for 13 weeks, working 12-hour shifts with a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule (7 pm to 7 am).

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapy

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist license required
