Hospital Pharmacist in Coos Bay, OR

A critical access hospital near the beautiful Oregon Coast is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to oversee their one-person pharmacy operation as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC). Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and coordinate workflow
• Manage pharmacokinetic assessments and dosing adjustments
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements as the PIC
• Support overall pharmacy operations in a 25-bed hospital environment

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist or eligible to obtain Oregon licensure
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Ability to independently manage a pharmacy in a critical access setting
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead pharmacy staff
• Willingness to learn and undergo training for permanent placement

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week
