Travel Retail LTC Pharmacist - Coralville, Iowa

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Webster City, IA, specializing in a specialty pharmacy setting. This assignment will last 13+ weeks and offers a chance to apply expertise in both long-term care and retail pharmacy services.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM 5:30 PM
• Some weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and safely to long-term care and retail patients
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage and potential side effects
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Iowa or eligible for an Iowa Temporary License
• Experience in long-term care and retail pharmacy environments
• Immunization certification is preferred
• CPR certification is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
