Hospital Pharmacist | Coraopolis, Pennsylvania
A permanent opportunity is available for a Unit-Based Clinical Pharmacist to expand clinical expertise across multiple hospital units, including the Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU). This role offers the unique chance to develop a diverse skill set by supporting various clinical areas rather than being assigned to a single floor. Serving as a vital member of the antibiotic stewardship team, you will actively contribute to optimizing medication use and patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Entering and verifying medication orders and reviewing medication profiles for appropriateness
- Providing clinical services tailored to specific patient populations
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams and rounding activities within ED and ICU settings
- Monitoring drug therapy and conducting pharmacist-managed consults according to protocols
- Engaging in acute patient care scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma interventions
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
- Completion of PGY1 residency or a minimum of 3 years of current clinical pharmacy experience
- Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania or eligibility to obtain licensure

Schedule: Primarily day shifts, 8-hour shifts with variable days and afternoon availability
Information Technology: Meditech system utilized
