Hospital Pharmacist | Coraopolis, Pennsylvania

A Staff Pharmacist position is available at a psychiatric hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, for the month of October (10/110/31) with a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. This contract role focuses on delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services within a hospital setting, supporting patient care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and enter medication orders to ensure patient safety.
• Operate and manage automated dispensing machines efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with hospital administrators, physicians, and nursing staff to coordinate pharmaceutical care.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support medication inventory management and dispensing processes.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Pennsylvania.
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Proficient in data order entry and verification systems.
• Experience with automated dispensing machines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams.
