Inpatient Pharmacist | Corvallis, Oregon

A hospital inpatient pharmacy role is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a healthcare facility in Corvallis, OR. This 13-week contract position features a unique 7 on, 7 off night shift schedule from 8:00 pm to 6:30 am, offering an engaging environment for pharmacists skilled in inpatient medication management and pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies and patient prescriptions
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide pharmaceutical care and ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for medication order verification and documentation
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facility protocols
• Participate in medication inventory management and control
• Provide education and counseling to patients and healthcare professionals as needed

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required at time of application
• Prior experience in hospital pharmacy preferred, particularly in inpatient settings
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy law, drug therapies, and hospital procedures
• Experience working with EPIC or similar EMR systems is an advantage
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
