Travel Hospital Pharmacist - Cottonwood, California

This travel pharmacist position offers an excellent opportunity to provide clinical pharmacy services within a 250-bed hospital setting in Northern California. The role involves dynamic responsibilities supporting patient care and pharmacy operations during a flexible schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, including varying afternoons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support their task management
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff through clinical consultations
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell IT systems for medication management and documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active California pharmacist license required
• Willingness to travel and work in Northern California regions
• Positive, professional attitude with strong communication skills
• Completion of a PGY1 residency is highly preferred

Location: Cottonwood, CA

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
