Hospital Pharmacist - Cushing, OK

A 100-bed community hospital located approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join their team on a night shift schedule. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide critical pharmacy services in a hospital environment within a supportive and well-established healthcare setting.

Location:
Cushing, OK (near Stillwater, OK)

Schedule:

• Night shift
• 7 days on, 7 days off

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Perform pharmacokinetic assessments to optimize medication therapy
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care
• Utilize Meditech pharmacy information system for daily tasks

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong understanding of hospital protocols and patient safety requirements
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
