Inpatient Pharmacist in Dallas, TX

An established medical center in Dallas, TX is seeking two skilled inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for professionals with solid inpatient experience who are ready to take on the challenge of working in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Schedule:

• Days/Evenings, working 4x10-hour shifts
• Shift hours: 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
• Start date: November 9

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including medication preparation and verification
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and oversee IV preparation, both hands-on and through verification processes
• Utilize EMR systems, specifically EPIC, for medication management
• Operate pharmacy automation tools such as Pyxis and Carousel to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience, including IV prep
• Current Oklahoma pharmacist license in-hand
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency with hospital pharmacy automation and electronic medical records
• First-time travelers welcome; local candidates within 75 miles are not eligible
