Travel Hospital Pharmacist in De Pere, WI

This opportunity is for a traveling pharmacist to provide critical pharmacy support at a small, 40-bed hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. The facility offers a dynamic practice environment serving around 30-40 inpatients across diverse departments including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, oncology, emergency, and outpatient surgery.

You will be responsible for managing multiple pharmacy functions in a centralized inpatient pharmacy. Daily duties include verifying EPIC orders, reviewing technicians work, handling pharmacist phone consultations, and preparing various medication formulations such as inpatient and outpatient IVs, inpatient unit dose meds, and outpatient chemotherapy. This role requires accuracy, prioritization, and strong clinical judgment within a moderately busy hospital setting.

Schedule:

• 4 ten-hour shifts per week, day shift (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) with rotating weekends
• Alternatively, a block schedule of 7 days on followed by 7 days off (day shift) is available
• Immediate start
• Assignment length: 13+ weeks

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficient in verifying orders and working with EPIC systems or similar electronic medical records
• Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient medication preparation and distribution
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Experience with oncology and chemotherapy medication management is a plus
