Travel Hospital Pharmacist - De Pere, Wisconsin

A hospital-based pharmacist position is available with a 75-bed facility located in Medford, WI. This travel opportunity offers a dynamic role within an inpatient pharmacy, managing a variety of responsibilities critical to patient care. The assignment begins ASAP and extends for 13 weeks, providing a unique chance to gain diverse experience in a supportive environment.

Schedule:

• Primarily 10-hour day shifts
• Rotating weekends with 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders through EPIC, ensuring accurate and safe dispensation
• Oversee technician activities and respond to pharmacist inquiries
• Administer inpatient and outpatient intravenous medications, unit dose treatments, and chemotherapy
• Support clinical areas including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, ED, and oncology
• Manage an inpatient census averaging 30-40 patients, covering both medical and surgical cases

Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Comfortable handling inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, including oncology medications
• Strong multitasking and communication skills in a fast-paced hospital setting
