IV Sterile Compounding Retail Pharmacist - Delano, California

A full-time opportunity is available for a Compounding Pharmacist focused on sterile and non-sterile preparations in Delano, CA. This contract role extends through July 2026 with the potential for permanent placement. Immediate need also exists for a Retail Pharmacist focusing solely on dispensing duties in a temporary capacity.

Responsibilities include overseeing sterile and non-sterile compounding processes, performing final verification of prescriptions, filling, labeling, and prepackaging medications. The pharmacist will communicate with healthcare providers regarding orders, clarifications, and refills, as well as counsel patients and address their questions. Adherence to USP 795, 797, 800 standards, and Board of Pharmacy regulations is essential.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:15 AM 5:15 PM

Qualifications and Experience:

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required
• Active California Pharmacist license
• 35 years of pharmacy experience, compounding preferred
• Retail pharmacy experience will also be considered for the dispensing-focused role
• Strong communication and organizational skills
