A hospital in the suburban Denver area seeks two experienced pharmacists to support critical patient care in distinct roles. These positions offer the opportunity to contribute expertise within a dynamic healthcare environment using EPIC technology.

Position 1: Inpatient Pharmacist

• Variable days and afternoon shifts to provide comprehensive medication management for hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

Position 2: Outpatient Oncology Pharmacist

• Day-shift role specializing in oncology pharmacy services, supporting outpatient treatment protocols.
• Prepare and dispense chemotherapy and other specialized medications with strong attention to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and provide clinical recommendations.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EPIC system.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold high standards of pharmacy practice.

Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado pharmacist license.
• Proven experience in hospital pharmacy settings; oncology experience preferred for outpatient role.
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
