Travel Hospital Pharmacist | Dublin, Ohio

Join a leading 500-bed hospital pharmacy team in Cincinnati as a Pharmacist with a focus on hospital inpatient care. This travel position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule:

• Evenings
• Shifts available as 4x10s or 5x8s
• Training will take place during day shifts

Start Date:

• Immediate availability preferred

Duration:

• 13 weeks, with potential for extension

Location:

• Dublin, OH (relocation or travel flexibility required)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform order verification, ensuring accuracy in medication orders
• Check sterile products and doses, including responsibilities in the IV room
• Supervise sterile compounding processes
• Manage inventory and medication dispensing using Pyxis systems
• Provide clinical consults and field complex questions from patients and physicians
• Support antibiotic dosing and participate in specialized therapies such as ECMO and CRRT
• Work efficiently within an EPIC electronic medical records system to document and track patient care

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacist experience in a large academic or similar hospital setting
• Familiarity with sterile compounding and IV admixture protocols
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Strong clinical skills in antibiotic dosing and managing critical care medication regimes
• Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and patients
