Retail Pharmacist in East Stroudsburg, PA

This direct hire opportunity seeks an experienced pharmacist to lead and manage a retail pharmacy department within a grocery store setting in Dingmans Ferry, PA. The role offers a variable schedule with day and afternoon shifts, totaling 69 hours biweekly. The position is available for immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store operations to engage associates and communicate department goals effectively.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations through thorough Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance.
• Drive business profitability and prescription growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Manage inventory by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand.
• Align department performance with key metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including healthcare counseling and resolving customer inquiries and complaints.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; conduct training, coaching, and performance management.
• Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with physicians, using reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy operational tasks promptly, including inventory management and will-calls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
