Retail Pharmacist | East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in Dingmans Ferry, PA, at a busy grocery store pharmacy setting. This direct hire role offers a chance to lead and grow the pharmacy department while delivering excellent patient care and business results. Variable day and afternoon shifts provide scheduling flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative relationship with store operations and pharmacy staff, driving engagement and clear communication of company strategies.
• Verify prescription accuracy through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance per state and federal regulations.
• Manage pharmacy operations to ensure profitability and script growth through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Collaborate with the District Manager on inventory control, tracking sales, and ordering pharmaceutical stock.
• Align department goals with 7 key performance metrics to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing medical inquiries, counseling patients, and resolving issues to build trust.
• Supervise pharmacists, associates, and support staff; oversee training, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain security, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance within the pharmacy department.
• Prioritize and execute daily department tasks including inventory management and will-calls.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
• Experience in retail pharmacy environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service aptitude.
