Mail Order Supervisor Pharmacist | Edison, California

A full-time Pharmacy Supervisor role is available in an animal health compounding pharmacy setting. This position is onsite in Bakersfield, CA, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:15 AM to 5:15 PM. The role offers a competitive base salary range of $160,000 to $185,000 plus bonuses, commensurate with experience. Benefits eligibility is included.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of pharmacists to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Oversee daily compounding pharmacy operations and maintain efficient workflow.
• Ensure compliance with USP standards, state board regulations, and 503A requirements.
• Maintain accurate training records and verify adherence to proper compounding procedures.
• Assist in drug selection for dispensing and compounded preparations.
• Identify opportunities for process and formulation improvements.
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership and cross-functional departments.
• Maintain confidentiality and enforce company policies along with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current California Pharmacist license in good standing.
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 2 years managing pharmacy lab staff.
• 25 years of compounding experience.
• Strong familiarity with USP standards, state board regulations, and 503A compounding requirements.
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
