Inpatient Pharmacist in Edmond, OK

A healthcare facility is seeking two inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract to support their busy hospital setting. Location: Edmond, OK
Schedule:

• Days/Evenings shift
• 4x10-hour shifts per week (12:00 p.m. 10:30 p.m.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations with hands-on involvement
• Supervise pharmacy technicians
• Prepare and verify intravenous (IV) medications
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system
• Manage automated dispensing equipment including Pyxis and Carousel
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of hospital inpatient pharmacy experience required, including IV preparation
• Active Oklahoma pharmacist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with EPIC and automated dispensing systems highly preferred
• Candidates new to travel assignments welcome; no local pharmacists within 75 miles required
