Travel Hospital Pharmacist | Elk Grove, California

An opportunity exists for a licensed Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care at a 250-bed hospital in Redding, CA. This travel position offers a dynamic work environment supporting patient care through accurate medication order verification and collaborative clinical services.

Location:

• Redding, CA

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Variable days and afternoon shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with precision and attention to detail
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and compliance
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to optimize pharmacotherapy
• Participate in pharmacokinetic monitoring and adjust therapies accordingly
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and dispensing

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current California Pharmacist license required
• Experience in hospital pharmacy practice, particularly within a 250-bed facility
• Positive, adaptable attitude with a commitment to quality patient care
• Willingness to travel and work in northern California locations
• Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) residency completion strongly preferred
