Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - Elyria, Ohio

An experienced inpatient pharmacist opportunity is available to support hospital pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare setting. This travel role involves working at either of two hospital sites located in North/Central Ohio, between Cleveland and Columbus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties, including medication dispensing and verification.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and accuracy.
• Oversee clean room operations, maintaining sterile compounding standards.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for medication management and documentation.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio pharmacist license with inpatient experience.
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and inpatient medication therapies.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to healthcare teamwork.

• Ability to work shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM and flexibility to work every fourth weekend.

Location:

• Travel to either or both hospital sites in Galion (25 beds) or Ontario (40 beds), Ohio.

Assignment Details:

• Immediate start with a contract duration of approximately 12 weeks ending mid-January.
