A pharmacy leadership role is available in Newport, PA, focusing on retail pharmacy operations with a direct hire opportunity. This position demands a proactive pharmacist ready to drive business growth and deliver top-tier patient care in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster collaboration with store operations to engage pharmacy associates and align with company strategy.
• Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in line with state and federal regulations.
• Manage department profitability and script growth by implementing clinical initiatives including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) programs.
• Oversee inventory control in coordination with district management, balancing stock to meet customer needs and maximize profits.
• Align department performance with seven key measurable metrics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide exemplary customer service through healthcare counseling and resolution of medical-related inquiries.
• Supervise and train pharmacy staff, handling performance management and departmental security.
• Maintain pharmacy cleanliness, prioritize tasks such as inventory and will-call management, and proactively support team development to reduce turnover and control labor costs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.

Schedule and Hours:

• Variable day and afternoon shifts.
• Approximately 74 hours bi-weekly.
