This role involves dispensing medications accurately and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services to customers under the direct supervision of a manager. You will counsel and advise patients on their medication regimens, promoting adherence and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday (with occasional Saturdays as needed)
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications in a timely and precise manner
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to manage patients' pharmaceutical care
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Iowa
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients
