The role involves directly supporting patients through comprehensive counseling and education, ensuring optimal use of their medications while collaborating closely with prescribers to resolve clinical concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver proactive patient counseling and medication education via phone, addressing inquiries about new prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and correct medication use.
• Work collaboratively with prescribers and their offices to clarify prescriptions, resolve clinical issues, and expedite the dispensing process.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail, specialty, or mail order pharmacy settings.
