Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Flushing, NY

A pharmacy in the Bronx, NY is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to provide temporary coverage for approximately 3040 hours per week from July 27 to August 21. This per diem position supports retail pharmacy operations during a short-term coverage period.

Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Position Type: Temporary / Relief Coverage
Schedule:

• Retail pharmacy hours
• Some evening shifts until 8:00 PM
• Alternating Saturdays required

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and safety
• Counsel patients and answer medication-related questions
• Support daily pharmacy workflow and operations
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company procedures
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain efficient service

Qualifications:

• Active New York Pharmacist license in good standing
• Preferred experience in retail pharmacy
• Specialty pharmacy experience is an added advantage
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Availability for evening shifts and alternating Saturdays
