Hospital Pharmacist - Flushing, New York

A mid-sized hospital in New York City is seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide vital pharmaceutical services during night shifts on a contract basis. Responsibilities include:

• Order verification to ensure accurate, timely medication dispensing
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting their workflow
• Managing pharmacokinetics for appropriate dosing and patient safety
• Consulting with physicians and nurses on medication management and clinical decisions
• Utilizing healthcare technology including EPIC and Pyxis systems for streamlined operations

• Licensed pharmacist in New York State with current credentials
