Retail Pharmacist in Fort Jones, CA

A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a contract assignment from October 26 to October 30. This role involves working in a high-volume store environment with a fast-paced workflow.

Location:

• Fort Jones, CA (Yreka Pharmacy)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily retail pharmacy operations
• Accurately process and dispense 400500 prescriptions daily
• Provide excellent patient service and counseling
• Utilize PioneerRx software to manage prescriptions and inventory
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• Recent experience as a retail pharmacist, preferably in a busy pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with high-volume prescription processing
• Comfortable working with PioneerRx software or ability to quickly adapt to new pharmacy management systems
