Travel Inpatient Pharmacist in Fort Worth, TX

An experienced inpatient pharmacist role is available in Lubbock, TX, supporting a 500-bed hospital system that includes a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. This travel position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment using the EPIC system, recently transitioned from Cerner.

Schedule:

• 7 on / 7 off, nights shift
• Wednesday to Tuesday rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee general inpatient pharmacy operations
• Ensure accurate dispensing and medication management for hospitalized patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care
• Support NICU and Pediatric ICU patients with specialized medication needs using EPIC system

Desired Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of inpatient pharmacist experience, highly preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC, or solid ability to adapt to the EPIC software system
• Familiarity with hospital inpatient pharmacy workflows and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Additional Information: This travel pharmacist position provides flexibility and exposure to a large hospital setting with specialized pediatric units.
