Outpatient Home Infusion Pharmacist | Gainesville, Georgia

A healthcare facility in Gainesville, GA seeks a licensed Pharmacist with expertise in outpatient infusion to fulfill a 6-month contract role. This position plays a vital role in managing and dispensing medications related to home infusion and hospital outpatient services, ensuring safe and effective pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and verifying sterile compounding, infusion, and intravenous medications in compliance with healthcare standards
• Utilizing the EPIC system for accurate medication order entry, verification, and documentation
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient therapy and provide expert pharmaceutical guidance
• Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety protocols relevant to hospital outpatient infusion services
• Participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives related to pharmacy services

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Georgia
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience, including hands-on sterile compounding, infusion, or IV room responsibilities
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently within established protocols
• Reliable availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
