Travel Inpatient Pharmacist - Galion, Ohio

An opportunity exists for two to three experienced inpatient pharmacists to provide essential pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting within North/Central Ohio. This travel position supports hospitals located in Galion and Ontario, OH, both utilizing EPIC electronic health records and serving 25 and 40 beds respectively. The assignment is scheduled to begin immediately and will last approximately 12 weeks, concluding in early January.

Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on medication management, supervising pharmacy technicians, and maintaining oversight of clean room operations. Effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians and nurses, are critical to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule details:

• Shifts start flexibly between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Work every fourth weekend

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Current Ohio pharmacist license
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience within a hospital environment
• Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
• Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians and manage clean room standards
