Hospital Pharmacist | Galt, California

A hospital pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist with experience in clinical and operational pharmacy services. This role begins ASAP and extends for at least 13 weeks, providing the chance to contribute in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Schedule:

• Full-time hours, schedule to be discussed

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapies
• Manage pharmacokinetics duties, optimizing drug dosing and monitoring patient responses
• Utilize pharmacy information systems including Cerner and Omnicell, with a transition to EPIC imminent

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Proven hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations and workflow
• Comfortable working within electronic health record systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
