Hospital Pharmacist | Gardnerville, Nevada

A 13+ week contract opportunity is available for an experienced night shift pharmacist to join a 175-bed hospital setting. This role requires working 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, with 10-hour shifts, providing a consistent and predictable schedule for those who prefer night hours.

The ideal candidate will possess current licensure in Nevada and have prior hospital pharmacy experience. Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems is essential to efficiently manage medication order verification and support clinical operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and overseeing medication dispensing processes
• Consulting collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Applying pharmacokinetic principles to manage drug therapies
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
