Outpatient Pharmacist in Glendale, CA

Location: Glendale, CA (Outpatient setting within the Los Angeles County Department of Health System)
Schedule/Hours:
- 8-hour shifts
- Flexibility to work mostly 1st and 2nd shifts, with occasional 3rd shifts as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and verify medications in an outpatient hospital environment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
- Participate in pharmacy competencies and continuing education as required
Desired Qualifications:
- Current pharmacy licensure with relevant state credentials
- PGY1 residency or approximately two years of recent inpatient experience preferred
- Retail pharmacists with outpatient interest are welcome
- Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient care
- Successful completion of a competency examination (one attempt)
- Willingness to undergo a Livescan background check
